4 DAYS MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING SAFARI-FLYING SAFARI

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe to catch your morning flight (0700) and fly to Bwindi located in south-western Uganda. It is world-renowned for its excellent gorilla-sighting opportunities - the forest is home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas on Earth. This gorilla experience takes place among a rugged landscape of dense jungle, cascading waterfalls, sparkling mountain streams, deep valleys, and steep ridges.

Arrive at the Kihihi airstrip and transferred to the Sanctuary Gorilla leisure lodge for lunch.

Dinner and Overnight

Early breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla trekking. The thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each gorilla safari encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display.

Later in the afternoon, visit the Batwa community to explore the lifestyle of the people living and surrounding the park. Batwa guides, see how the Batwa lived and hunted, learn about medicinal plants, and watch for animals and birds.

Dinner & Overnight at the Lodge

You have 2 flight options returning from Bwindi, you may choose to catch up a morning flight at 0945 arriving at Entebbe at 1125, or with the afternoon flight departing Bwindi at 1405 and arriving at 1505 to Entebbe. Whatever you choose our guide will be ready to transfer you to the Airstrip to catch up your return flight from Bwindi to Entebbe for your international flight.
